Hawaiian Football Launches Inaugural Fundraising Campaign

WAILUKU, MAUI – Faithful to our vision of creating a strong Sporting Nation, Kanaka Pōwāwae (Hawaiian Football) is pleased to announce the launch of our inaugural Hoa Kāko‘o Fundraising Campaign.  

Individuals and small businesses who wish to become Supporters of Hawaiian Football’s Core Mission and National Team Program may visit hawaiianfootball.com/support to make a valuable donation today.  Businesses interested in giving $5,000 or more are welcomed to contact Hawaiian Football’s Secretary General, Trisha Kapua‘ala, to learn about the sponsorship opportunities available in support of our National Teams.

Our strategy harnesses the humanitarian and unifying aspects of the world’s most powerful sport – igniting our vision/mission – using international competition as a platform by which health and education can once again become cornerstones of Native Hawaiian identity and well-being.  Through our National Teams, Native Hawaiians now have the opportunity to exercise their fundamental patriotic and humanitarian rights – to represent their country under their own flag, on the global sporting stage.
