MOKU O KEAWE — HAWAI‘I ISLAND
Rooted in mauli Hawai‘i and the living legacy of the lāhui, the 2025 King’s Hawaiian Football Festival is an all-women’s gathering of top Native Hawaiian footballers (ages 15–17) from across Hawai‘i and the diaspora. Held on Hawai‘i Island and hosted in partnership with the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, the Festival integrates elite football training, cultural education, international matches, and intercultural exchange as a culturally adapted intervention that nurtures identity, purpose, and well-being.
